Road Trip part 3 - Noosa

The last leg of this mini adventure, Noosa. A day spent climbing tree's, getting bashed around by the aggressive waves and generally just having the sort of fun you have as a child. These sort of days are always needed, the non serious kind full of silliness. They lift my spirit to the highest and always seem to bring good prospects into my life. This whole trip did exactly that, it was just what I needed to get my head around this new life of mine and set me off to a good start in Australia.

Still Exploring - Gold Coast

Having only been living in Sydney for just 10 days I already had itchy feet for another adventure. I needed to make the most of this free time before work begins, right? Being extremely fortunate and having such wonderful friends here the plan had to be to go visit them in Queensland. So destination one - Gold Coast where I got to drive my friends boat and visit an Island. I really couldn't have asked for a better start to this trip and I thank everyone involved for making it such fun. This trip lifted my energy levels so high, exactly what you need when you have just started your whole life over and done this the other side of the world.

This skirt I am wearing I absolutely adore, my exact colour pallet and on top of that it's covered in tassels. Beautiful, Australian boutiques doing it best yet again.

Bikes and Beaches - Manly

Back to the place that makes me happiest.. SYDNEY!! On this day I actually ventured up north to Manly as a good friend of mine has made it his home. He played the perfect tour guide showing me all the best beaches by bicycle. Starting out with Collins beach, a beach which has been described as 'a piece of secret paradise'. Apparently this is great spot for cliff jumping, so of course, off that cliff I went! My first time doing this and I must say (the Aussie way) it was 'heaps' of fun! The last beach we made it to was Shelly beach, where I lived the dream of being a Mermaid snorkelling with fish bigger than my head. This day couldn't be a better example of why I want to call Australia my home.

Dreaming - Sydney

Always. Dreaming of my favourite city as per usual. The place I'm happiest to visit and saddest to leave. Here is  my photo diary from a recent trip to Sydney, one of my best trips there yet. The timing couldn't have been better as I was able to spend one of my best friends Birthday's with him. To Celebrate we went on a day trip to Gordon's Bay, such a beautiful little beach with clear blue waters. As it is situated along the Bondi to Coogee walk we decided to do 'the walk' back to Bondi. Well, that was entertaining. I have no idea how but we somehow managed to take a wrong turn, I mean the no entry sign should have been a big enough warning! After traipsing though bushes and swamps the beautiful views of Bondi beach came into sight. We then watched the sun go down whilst having dinner in one of the many cafe's situated along side the famous beach. All in all, a perfect day and a perfect example of why I'm so in love with this city. Another massive attraction to me is the Australian shopping. My style to a t. The most satisfying shopping trips I've ever had have been in this country.

Beach Huts - Melbourne

Throwing back as its Thursday, to Feb this year and my day in Melbourne. It was finally my time to visit the beach huts of Brighton Beach. After seeing many photos of these, they were high up on my to do list. Even though the weather wasn't really in my favour it was a lovely day, I stocked up on my Aussie reads and and enjoyed some down time in Melbourne.

Attire for the day included my beach ready juju jellies, vintage skirt, cream patterned vest top with a denim jacket. Bag of choice as per usual a backpack, this one, brought from Topshop comes nearly everywhere with me and has had it fair share of wear and tear. Finished off with a pair of heart shaped glasses, Its always good to the world out of a love heart!!!
