City Bohemian - Brooklyn

The one question I can't stop asking myself.. How has it taken me so long to visit Brooklyn? Boy, have I been missing out. First stop - Brooklyn Flea Market, a place where I found myself  in my absolute element. Jam packed Vintage stalls at their very best. My personal favourite, La Poubelle Vintage which was set in a caravan alongside the rustic letter store where I obviously purchased L, O, V and E! Shopping, discovering and walking (the Brooklyn Bridge) are some of my favourite things to whilst enjoying the city life!

Copenhagen Calling

This was one of those days where I felt completely overwhelmed with gratitude. Due to a last minute change of schedule it was time to explore Copenhagen, a city I had yet to tick off. What a pleasant surprise! From the moment I entered the hotel room, which had views of the river where the locals were enjoying this summers day to the fullest and jumping into the river, my energy levels were raised. With my new fujifilm and map at the ready off I go exploring Copenhagen. What did I find? That this city really is equipped with it all, from riverside trampolines to pop up river view bars feeding you wine and cheese (my favourite) and to top it The little Mermaid - my favourite Disney character! Ah, am I grateful for my job right now!!!!! Thank you!!!

Desert Wandering - U.A.E

Did someone say.... ROAD TRIP?? After nearly 3 years living in the UAE it was finally time to explore further than Dubai. So off we went. Starting out in Dubai heading up to RAK, driving through Diba and ending up in Fujairah overlooking Snoopy Island where we were to set up camp for the eve. From miles of desert to giant rocky mountains within an hour, I had no idea why it had taken so long to explore this side of the UAE. The one thing these pictures do not tell is the sweat we were dealing with on that day, our own fault really for travelling in the middle of summer! Nevertheless when you have the chance to explore, GO, you never know when it will come up again!

Dream BIG - Buenos Aires

Dream big. Dream Always! I myself have always been a dreamer so this tee just about sums up what I like to do. I do love finding a meaningful printed tee. This is probably the most worn item in my wardrobe as it just works with everything. My Wildfox possessions do tend to be very popular in my day to day life, meaning this tee and my white twiggy sunnies.

On this occasion I was wandering the streets of La Boca in Argentina. This bright neighbourhood was full of photo ops, with splashes of colour everywhere you look. This area is a must visit every time I visit Buenos Aires, with the tango dancers who liven up the streets and picture perfect buildings La Boca is just one of those feel good places!

From Lisbon to Sintra

Around this time last year I went on my first trip to Portugal. I was seriously wowed by some of the sights, the village of Sintra in particular. The first day was spent in the capital, Lisbon, where I got to ride one of the cute vintage looking trams up to the castle for a view of the Portuguese rooftops. The second day was more of an adventure, beginning with the colourful Castelo dos Mouros and ending up cliffside at the Cabo da Roca. This has to be up there with my favourite photo diaries of 2013.

Wearing striped top from Zara, white skirt and shoes from Topshop finessed with Blue shades also from Topshop.

Wearing vintage dress, customised by me, white shoes as mentioned above and of course, my Wildfox sunnies.

Taiwan Tales - Taipei

The main reason I do my job is to explore new places, some of which I may never have thought to visit. Taipei is one of those for sure so my excitement levels were pretty high for this trip. Just that feeling of wandering round a city that is so different to what I am used to just makes me smile. When I arrived I went for a walk around the local neighbourhood and stocked up on random food before getting an early night for the next day's hike. As usual I wanted a good view of the city so Elephant Mountain it was. After huffing and puffing our way up The Xiangshan Hiking trail, climbing the rocks at the top and nearly getting blown over, we had the perfect view over Taipei and the Taipei 101 building.
