Hunter Valley Gardens

Stepping into a fairytale? My kind of day and exactly what you get when entering the perfectly presented Hunter Valley gardens. Spending the day wandering from garden to garden enjoying each and every theme. With the giant chair in Storybook land being a personal favourite followed by the charm of the Oriental gardens. My outfit today, finished off nicely with a dream catcher necklace (for the bohemian in me), is also from Museum which really did fit the styling for this trip oh so very well.

Never Ending Green

Exchanging the usual never ending blue for fields of green on my recent trip to Pokolbin. The field featured above completely caught my attention. There was just something about that field so I thought only right to shoot there. I think it's safe to say the wardrobe for this trip was totally themed to the country surroundings. This playsuit is from Museum, a favourite of mine in Sydney and a store which catered the style needs of this trip just perfectly.

Get-a-way - Hunter Valley

Like I've said before I believe it's extremely important to treat yourself to a monthly getaway. Unfortunately I didn't manage one in March and it really did reflect on my mood. So April I'm doubling up, starting with the gorgeously green sights of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley. Akubra hats at the ready! I think this photo diary best shows what these Wineries can really do to you and how much fun you can have, as apposed to the perfectly picturesque sights I would usually post. Our first stop McGuigan's completely had us covered, feeding us with the finest cheese from the onsite shop whilst we enjoyed our wine. Perfect views, flowing wine and delicious food all topped off with the best company. Yep, I think this place did just the job in bringing back such a good level of energy and it's only 3 hours out of Sydney!!
